BRCC Indonesia Holds Chinese University Entrance Exam

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Chinese language and culture center & Road Chinese Center (BRCC) today officially held an Entry Selection Examination at the Chinese State University which was chosen by the Chinese education ministry.

Through this test, the BRCC provides access to world quality higher education to the people of Indonesia.

This test was attended by 400 participants from all over Indonesia ranging from Jambi, Palembang, Lampung, Surabaya, Semarang, Makassar, Yogyakarta, to Jabodetabek, and various other cities/provinces.

Director of BRCC Indonesia Veby Millian Kesuma said, through this test, apart from increasing access to world-quality higher education.

"We also aim to further improve relations between Indonesia and China, especially among young people. We do this on the basis of our enthusiasm to further improve relations between Indonesia and China, especially in terms of society," he said.

This examination was held on February 22, 2025 at the University of Tarukanagara, through support from the Tarumanegara Foundation and Xinya College.

Benefits obtained by prospective test participants include: Live Examination with the top Chinese campus, Offering Letter directly from the university, the opportunity to get scholarships for participants who graduate and study in English or Mandarin introductory.

The Entrance Selection Examination is divided into 2 stages, namely: written exams and interviews with the Chinese University, Exams are available in English and Mandarin.

There are three Chinese universities that will conduct entrance Selection Exams and majors that can be selected by prospective entrance Selection Exam participants:

1. Beihang University

Beihang University (also known as Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, BUAA) is one of the leading universities in China that focuses on engineering, aeronautics, astronautics, and advanced technology. Founded in 1952, Beihang is famous for its contributions to aviation and space technology research and education.

2. CUPB

China University of Petroleum, Beijing (CUPB) is a leading university in China that focuses on education and research in the fields of energy, oil and related techniques. Founded in 1953, CUPB has a global reputation in providing technical and academic training in the energy sector.

With modern facilities, experienced faculties, and international collaboration, CUPB is committed to producing graduates who contribute to innovation and sustainability in the energy industry.

3. HEU

Harbin Engineering University (HEU) is a leading university in China that focuses on marine technology, ship engineering, nuclear engineering, and related science.

Located in Harbin, the university has an international reputation in research and development in the fields of maritime engineering and advanced technology. With advanced facilities, quality academic staff, and global partnerships, HEU is committed to educating innovative professionals and contributing to technological advances in various sectors.
