JAKARTA Dompet Dhuafa held a press conference and signed a collaboration between the Zakat Program Partners (MPZ) and the Setara Indonesia Foundation on Friday (21/02/2025) at Corner 28 Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

The event was attended by Waryono Abdul Ghafur as Director of Zakat Empowerment and Waqf of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, Sandiaga Uno initiator of the Indonesian Setara Foundation who is also the former Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Ahmad Juwaini as Chairman of the Dhuafa Wallet Management and Andriansyah as Chairman of Ramadan Dompet Dhuafa 1446 H.

The Director of Zakat Empowerment and Waqf of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, Waryono, said that Indonesia has prepared regulations for zakat governance in accordance with existing laws.

"We have to do this collaboration, how come the program is equivalent to Indonesia's Dompet Dhuafa, why don't we just collaborate so that the social impact is greater so that the resources are more, so that the duplication of this program will avoid accelerating and enriching the ability to execute quickly," he said.
