Indonesia Pingpong League 2024 Completed, This Is A List Of IPL Award 2025 For Athletes And Coaches
JAKARTA - The 2024 Indonesia Pingpong League (IPL) competition has been completed. After the first edition, a 2025 IPL Award award event was also held to appreciate athletes and coaches.
The IPL Award will be held at Balai Sudirman, Jakarta on Friday, February 21 evening WIB. In this event, seven categories of awards were awarded. The determination of the winner to this award was taken through voting on social media involving more than 1,500 audiences.
In his remarks, TNI Inspector General Muhammad Saleh Mustafa as the Chair of the 2024 IPL said that the holding of this event was indeed to appreciate athletes, coaches and many parties involved in the 2024 IPL.
"This 2025 IPL Award comes as a form that we appreciate the sweat, achievement and sacrifice of all the people involved in this competition (IPL 2024)," said Saleh Mustafa.
Of the seven categories that were read out, the Indonesian table tennis legend, Anton Suseno, successfully won two awards at once. She was named Best Coach Women's Team and Best Coach Men's Team in this award.
"I've been training for 15 years, but this is the first time I've received an award for a coach," said Anton Suseno on stage.
With the IPL Award 2025 being held after the completion of the 2024 IPL competition, Muhammad Saleh Mustafa said there was hope to revive ping pong or table tennis in the country.
"I convey that with this agenda, athletes, coaches and lovers of the country's ping pong are expected to have a forum, a place to present measurable achievements which will stimulate them to present achievements that are not only proud for personal use, but also for families, nation and state," said the Chairperson of the 2024 IPL.
