Bali-ASDP Police Discuss Readiness Of Lebaran 2025 Homecoming Flow

JEMBRANA - Bali Police, Jembrana Police, Buleleng Police, and PT ASDPIndonesia Ferry held a joint meeting at PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Gilimanuk Port, Jembrana Regency, to discuss the anticipation of the Eid homecoming flow in Operation Ketupat Agung 2025.

In addition to port authority officials, the Deputy Director of Traffic of the Bali Police, Adjunct Senior Commissioner (AKBP) Bima Aria Viyasa, Jembrana Police Chief AKBP Endang Tri Purwanto, Head of the Operations Bureau of the Bali Police Kombes Pol Soelistijono, Buleleng Police, elements of the TNI, and other institutions were present.

"We explain and synchronize the Denpasar-Gilimanuk homecoming flow route so that it runs smoothly," said Jembrana Police Chief AKBP Endang Tri Purwanto in the State, Jembrana Regency, Friday, February 21.

He said the cooperation between agencies discussed operational readiness and anticipation of traffic jams.

Manager of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Gilimanuk Port, Ryan Dewangga, said that his party predicts that the peak of the homecoming flow will occur on D-3 and the peak of backflow on D+3.

To transport travelers and their vehicles, he said, there were 54 ships prepared and 2 units of ships that had a large carrying capacity, namely KMP Jatra II and KMP Portlink VII.

"With a certain number of vehicles heading to the port, we are scheduling loading and unloading of ships and temporarily closing crossing services at the Tanjungwangi goods port," he said.

The port authorities also proposed buffer zones or shelter pockets along the main homecoming route.

To regulate traffic flow, Head of the Jembrana Police Traffic Unit Adjunct Commissioner (AKP) Oktamawan Abrianto said, when the homecoming flow is heavy, his party will direct the vehicle axis III or more to the parking bag that has been prepared.

His party estimates that when the flow peaks, the queue of vehicles can reach a few kilometers from the port as in previous years.

Meanwhile, Deputy Director of Traffic of the Bali Police, AKBP Bima Aria Viyasa, said that in the Jembrana Regency area there were six parking bags prepared, namely at the Pengagoan Rest Area, Rest Area Rambut Siwi, State Terminal in Kalikah, Suzuki Main Warehouse, Toyota Warehouse and Weight bridge in Cekik, Gilimanuk.

Regarding the condition of the Denpasar-Gilimanuk road, which is the main route for the homecoming route, some time ago, the Jembrana Endang Police Chief appealed to road users to be vigilant because in several potholes.

"The point is that travelers must be careful on the highway regardless of the conditions of the road that is passed," he said.
