Suzuki E Vitara Launches Next Year In Indonesia, Will Local Build?
JAKARTA - Suzuki Indonesia plans to launch its first electric car that is already present in India, the model in question, namely e VITARA in 2026.
Was introduced in Indonesia through an automotive exhibition some time ago, will the first electric car model from this Japanese brand be assembled in Indonesia?
Answering the question 4W Marketing Director of PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) Harold Donnel, spoke up. He said currently e VITARA is produced in India.
"So far, the status uses a global production base, where is the basis? It is in India," he said, when met at JIExpo Kemayoran, some time ago.

He further revealed that the main focus of e VITARA sales was actually on the European market share, which was first launched in Milan, Italy. Then, in India and Japan.
"Market development other than India and Japan is actually possible," he added.
Balik lagi, menurutnya tergantung dari masing-masing distributor. Untuk di Indonesia sendiri ada PT SIS dan PT SIM yang memang memproduksi berbagai model kendaraan dari Suzuki.
"Because we have started to support the environment, why not?," he explained.
Jadi seharus menantikan gerbarkan dari Suzuki di segmen kendaraan ramah lingkungan, dan pengerakan lokalnya.
