Powered 8GB IPhone 16e RAM Supports Apple Intelligence

JAKARTA - Apple rarely discloses RAM specifications on their iPhone devices, but the latest report from MacRumors confirms that the iPhone 16e is equipped with 8GB RAM.

The existence of 8GB RAM on the iPhone 16e was actually previously estimated. The reason is, this device supports Apple Intelligence technology, which requires at least 8GB RAM to run optimally.

Thus, the iPhone 16e has specifications that are equivalent to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models, which are also equipped with 8GB RAM. In comparison, the previous generation of iPhone SE, which is now replaced by the iPhone 16e, only has 4GB RAM, so the presence of this new model brings significant improvements in the performance and capability of Apple's artificial intelligence.

Certainty regarding the RAM capacity on the iPhone 16e was obtained through Apple developer Xcode, with the help of MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris.

For users interested in having the iPhone 16e, Apple will open a pre-order starting Friday, February 21, 2025, at 5 am Pacific time. This device will start to be available on the market on Friday, February 28, 2025, with launches in nearly 60 countries around the world. Unfortunately, Indonesia is not included in it yet.

With more qualified specifications and Apple Intelligence support, the iPhone 16e is an attractive option for users who want devices with advanced features but remain in a more affordable price category than other flagship models.
