Fariz RM Apologizes To Family After Being Entangled In Drug Cases Again

JAKARTA - Senior musician Fariz RM has returned to dealing with the law due to drug cases. Realizing his mistake, he expressed regret and apologized to his family and colleagues.

"First, I want to apologize to my family, wife and children, then colleagues related to work and work with me, for this incident which was not expected," said Fariz RM at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday, February 20.

Fariz also hopes that his legal process can run smoothly.

"Therefore, I ask all my friends to pray so that the legal process for my violations can run smoothly, easily and safely. God willing, I will agree," he continued.

He also admitted that this is not the first time he has been caught in a drug case. According to him, the pressure from popularity is one of the factors that makes him fall back.

"Yes of course, because it's been many times. Whenever I finish the case I will definitely stop, but maybe pressure for the sake of pressure from popularity, it's just a burden it might make me slip again," he said.

Previously, Fariz RM was officially named a suspect in the alleged drug abuse case by the South Jakarta Metro Police. This determination was announced after the police managed to secure two people related to the case.

"From yesterday, what is clear is that the South Jakarta Metro Police have arrested two people who are now suspects," said Nurma Dewi at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday, February 19.

Nurma Dewi also revealed the identities of the two suspects who are currently in legal proceedings.

"Then the identity of the one who has now become a suspect, yesterday it was secured and then now he is a suspect, namely the initials ADK, 46 years later FRM (Fariz RM), 66 years old," he continued.
