JAKARTA - As an effort to support the growth of digital talent in Indonesia, the Ministry of Creative Economy said it would collaborate with various parties, including the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
Because according to the Deputy Ministry of Creative Economy Irene Umar, to build and create a strong digital ecosystem, there must be synergy with various other relevant Ministries/Institutions.
"It's not just the Ministry of Creative Economy that can move on its own. Actually, we are ready to talk (with the Ministry of Communication and Trade). Because we have to direct our steps. There is Komdigi, there is the Ministry of Creative Economy, and there is also the Ministry of Technology. In addition, the Ministry of Creative Economy with other sub-sectors in the Ministry will also further strengthen its mission, which is related to renewable technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain.

Irene stated that this program is designed to empower women, especially housewives and single parents, to have digital skills that can improve their welfare.
"Because for example, if we only have sex with friends who are already at the university level, what's nice happens to those who can't enter the university? Then also, what happened to the single moms? What happened to the parents who had to stay at home? Therefore, we start with the strength of the women. metik that is already running," he said.
Since December last year, this program has been implemented in more than six cities, and this year it is targeted to expand to around 40 cities throughout Indonesia.
