The Ministry Of Public Works Calls Toll Roads Still Built Through BUJT Despite Budget Efficiency
JAKARTA - Director General of Highways of the Ministry of Public Works (PU) Roy Rizali Anwar said, there should be no obstacles in the construction of toll roads even though there is Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 1 of 2025 concerning Expenditure Efficiency in the Implementation of the 2025 APBN and APBD.
"There should be no obstacles," said Roy, quoted on Thursday, February 20.
Roy said the toll road construction project was mostly by the Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT). According to him, the BUJT holders of the toll road construction contract will continue to carry out development regardless of the budget efficiency carried out by the government.
"Yes, they (BUJT) are working on it. If it's a contract and there's a target this year, yes, they should finish it," he added.
Previously, the Prabowo Subianto Administration would only build a 13-kilometer toll road this year.
