Bernardo Silva Is More Ready If The Adu Penalti Against Real Madrid
JAKARTA - Manchester City will travel to the Santiago Bernabeu to face Real Madrid in the second leg of the knockout stages of the Champions League, Thursday, February 20, 2025, early morning WIB.
One of the Citizens players, Bernardo Silva, has prepared for the match. Moreover, Manchester City needs to reverse the deficit 2-3 from the first leg.
Bernardo Silva has even prepared himself for a penalty shootout. The preparations were made based on last season's meeting experience.
Portuguese players failed to execute a decisive penalty in the penalty shootout defeat against Los Blancos in the 2023/2024 Champions League quarter-finals.
Because of that, the midfielder said he would take another penalty if tomorrow's game resumes on penalties to avenge last wound.
"Of course, I will raise my hand. You can only miss a penalty if you do."

"The goalkeeper was waiting for him in the middle of the field. I have no regrets. If we have to go on penalties, we will do our best and qualify," said Bernardo Silva.
The 30-year-old midfielder also did not want to be inferior even though he did not benefit from being left behind in the first leg aggregate.
He said Manchester City's chances of getting a ticket to the last 16 of the Champions League were still open.
"We know that the people we talked to have the OPPORTUNities forten at the start and maybe now Real Madrid are favorites."
"We have a much more difficult job to do, but we believe we can complicate things. They have a lot of weapons to hurt us."
"A team is never perfect, Real Madrid, Manchester City, no team is perfect."
"There's always a way to find weaknesses. There are things they don't do well."
"It's about finding ways to take games to a place that makes us feel more comfortable. You will always suffer, we will try to suffer as little as possible," Bernardo Silva said again.
