Megawati Becomes The World's Best Women's Volleyball Player

JAKARTA Indonesia's flagship women's volleyball athlete, Megawati Hanggetri Pertiwi, who defended South Korean club Redmen, was named Volleybox's 2025 World Best Women's Volleyball Player.

The points were based on the athlete's appearance when defending their team in the championship and individual awards collected this year.

Megawati, who plays as an opposite, is recorded as having brilliant achievements with Red knowledge. He managed to lead the team to win 13 times in a row and was selected several times as a Most Valuable Player (MVP).

Currently Megawati and Redmen are competing for the South Korean volleyball league, V-League, the 2025 competition season. They are now in third place in the standings with 55 points.

In total, Redmen have played 29 games this season and won 20 times. Megawati has always appeared attractive and has been the top scorer of the match for Ko Hee-jin's team.

However, they lost their latest match against the AI Peppers on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. It was Redmen's second defeat against the AI Peppers this season.

Red Economy will next face GS Caltex on Saturday, February 22, 2025. Currently Caltex is still the basic occupant of the standings with a collection of 24 points.
