Nintendo Stops Gold Points Program For Digital Purchase Starting March 24
JAKARTA - Nintendo announced that starting March 24 at 21:30 PDT or March 25 at 12.30 WIB, customers will no longer get My Nintendo Gold Points when buying digital content.
In its announcement, the company said that this change applies to all digital purchases at Nintendo eShop and other relevant platforms.
If the user has pre-ordered the digital content before the specified deadline, you will still get the Gold Points, even if the payment is processed later.
Likewise, for users who buy physical versions of the game released on or before March 24, physical versions of the game that meet the requirements can still get the Gold Points, as long as the purchase is made within one year from the date of its original release.

"We are grateful for your support for the My Nintendo Rewards program and hope you will continue to enjoy other features in this program," Nintendo said.
Nintendo also ensures that users can still use Gold Points that have been obtained previously, and will last until the last day of the 12th month once they are obtained and can be used as usual.
However, it should be noted that this change will have an impact on purchasing using a balance from the Nintendo eShop card. After March 24, purchases using balances from eShop cards no longer qualify for getting the Gold Points.
