NASA Ready To Launch SPHEREx, Telescope To Find Life In Space
NASA announced that the SPHEREx spacecraft will be launched on 27 February. The spacecraft will be delivered into space using SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.
The launch will take place at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. At launch, SpaceX will also carry the Polarimeter to Unify the Corona and Heliosphere (PUNCH) instrument. This spacecraft will be used to study the solar wind of the Sun.
The SPHEREx take-off process will be broadcast live on NASA+'s website or other platforms owned by NASA. Usually, SpaceX also airs the launch process of its rocket through their official account on platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
Prior to the launch, NASA will also hold a press conference to discuss SPHEREx and PUNCH science reviews on Tuesday, February 25. The conference will be attended by a number of NASA directors, SPHEREx mission scientists, and PUNCH mission scientists.
The press conference will be held offline and online at NASA+. The launch preview will begin on February 27 at 12 p.m. local time. Meanwhile, launch coverage will begin at 21.15 p.m. and the launch window opens at 22.09 p.m.

SPHEREx, abbreviation to the Spectro-Photometer for the History of the Universe, the Epoch of Reionization and Ices Explorer, is a very important mission for NASA. The telescope was launched to understand the process of the universe in its evolution.
This telescope will also look for the main ingredients of life in outer space, especially in the Milky Way Galaxy. This spacecraft will search for planets with signs of life based on the ice, water, and other life-supporting compounds.
In particular, the SPHEREx is designed to find frozen water and carbon dioxide molecules in interstellar clouds of gas and dust. These two elements will be SPHEREx's main focus as long as it seeks alien or alien life.
