Tomorrow Inauguration Of Regional Heads At The Palace, DKI Transportation Agency Prepares 11 Parking Bags Around Monas
A total of 481 elected regional head pairs will be sworn in by President Prabowo Subianto at the State Palace, Thursday, February 20. The National Monument area will also be placed as a gathering point for regional heads and invited guests with a total of 2,426 people.
To support this activity, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency has prepared 11 parking bags around the Monas area for 5,618 vehicles.
"As many as 2,306 parking space units (SRP) were prepared for four-wheeled vehicles (cars) and 3,312 SRPs for motorbikes. Invite guests and assistants were not allowed to park other than in the designated area," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency Syafrin Liputo in his statement, Thursday, February 19.
The eleven parking bags provided to support the inauguration tomorrow are as follows:

A number of roads will also be diverted by traffic, namely Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan on the south side, Jalan MH Thamrin-Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jalan Budi Kemuliaan, Jalan Veteran I, Jalan Veteran II, Jalan Veteran III, Jalan Veteran, Jalan Majapahit, Simpang Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara.
"Traffic engineering will be carried out from February 19, 2025 to February 20, 2025 starting at 06.00 WIB until 18.00 WIB is situational," explained Syafrin.
The traffic engineering that will be implemented is:
b. The traffic flow from Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur (from the South) which will head to the west via Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara is diverted to Jalan Perwira-Jalan Cathedral-Jalan Pos-Jalan Gunung Sahari-Jalan Samanhudi-dst.
c. The flow of traffic from the north (Lyam Wuruk Street) which will go to the south (Blok M) is diverted through Jalan Ir. H. Juanda - Jalan Pos-Jalan Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara - Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat - Jalan Taman Pejambon - Jalan Pejambon - Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur-dst.
d. Traffic flow from Jalan Ir. H. Juanda which will head south (Blok M) is diverted through Jalan Suryopranoto-Jalan Tomang Raya-Jalan S. Parman-Jalan Gatot Subroto-dst.
e. The traffic flow from Jalan Tomang Raya and Jalan Suryopranoto which will head south (Blok M) is diverted through Jalan Ir. H. Juanda- Jalan Pos-Jalan Gedung Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara - Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat- Jalan Taman Pejambon-Jalan Pejambon-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur dst.
f. The traffic flow from the south (Blok M) to the north is diverted via Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan Fachrudin-Jalan Cideng Barat-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Suryopranoto-Jalan Hayam Wuruk-dst
g. The traffic flow through Jalan Veteran III to the south will be diverted situationally through Jalan Suryapranoto-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Cideng Timur-dst.
