A 4-year-old Boy Fell Into The Buha Manado River Found Dead 2 Km From A Lost Location
The joint SAR team evacuated a four-year-old girl who was found dead when she fell into the Buha River, Manado City, North Sulawesi (Sulut).
"After two days of searching, the SAR team finally found Brielle Sumbung, a girl who was reported to have fallen into the Buha River," said Public Relations of the Manado SAR Office, Nuriadin Gumeleng, in Manado, Wednesday, February 19, as reported by Antara.
The victim named Brielle Sumbung was found about two kilometers (km) from the initial location of the incident and died on Wednesday, February 19 at around 10.15 WITA.
Nuriadin said the victim, who lives in Perum Poligriya Permai, was previously reported missing after falling into the river on Tuesday, February 18.
The joint SAR team has carried out intensive searches since the report was received.
"On the second day of the team's search, the team finally found the victim in the river waters in a lifeless condition," he said.

After the evacuation process, the victim's body was immediately handed over to the family for burial.
"With the discovery of victims, search and rescue operations are closed," he said
He hopes that the public will be more careful, especially when doing activities around the river, especially during the rainy season which causes the water discharge to increase and the current becomes heavier.
