Not As A Son-in-law, Sule Considers Mahalini Like Her Own Child

JAKARTA - Comedian Sule expressed his views on family relations, especially how he maintains harmony with his daughter-in-law, Mahalini. Sule explained that his love for Mahalini could not be separated from the whereabouts of his son, Rizky Febian or who is familiarly called Iky.

"Why do I love Lini, because I have Iky's child. With that behavior we entrust it, if you love your child, but we show our effort too, I have felt where the problem will definitely come from my parents," said Sule in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Tuesday, February 18.

Sule also highlighted the importance of good communication and interaction in the family. He realized that if he did not maintain a good relationship, problems would arise in the family.

"If I don't like that, it will definitely be a problem, let alone us not talk or anything, we rarely see us silent with that bad face," he said.

"I definitely feel that those of you who already have in-laws. So there, I take a lot of lessons there," he said.

For him, a son-in-law is not a foreigner in the family, but has become part of a family that must be treated with full of love.

"So the son-in-law is not a son-in-law, that's my son, that's it. Iky is the same, considering his parents, that's your father. So respect, the priority is," explained Sule.

However, Sule does not want relations in her family to feel stiff and full of formality. He prefers to establish closeness in a relaxed and familiar way.

"But for me, it's not crazy to respect, we're just fun. We and Lini feel like friends, what kind of thing is it, because Lini also knows, what I and Iky look like at home, so it's fun," he said.
