Meanwhile, the Deputy Mayor of Waris admitted that he was summoned by the KPK for an investigation. Meanwhile, Plt Camat Datuk Bandar Timur Pahala Zulfikar said that he was investigated about the heads of the environment (Kepling).

"To the KPK investigators, I explained that according to the Mayor's Regulation there are obligations and prohibitions for the Kepling. If there is a Kepling proven to have violated the guardianship, it will be dismissed," said Pahala, Wednesday, April 21.

Then the Head of the Tanjungbalai BKD Abu Hanifah stated that he was questioned by the KPK regarding the transfer of positions in the Tanjungbalai City Government in 2019.

Previously, the KPK team conducted a search of the Mayor of Tanjungbalai's private house, the Mayor's office, the Sekdakot office and the BKD office at Tanjungbalai City Hall on Tuesday, April 20.

Based on the series of searches, the KPK team confiscated documents related to the alleged sale and purchase of positions in the Tanjungbalai City Government.
