Transjakarta Operates Normally During The Inauguration Of Regional Heads February 20
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) stated that Transjakarta buses that intersect with the location of the inauguration of regional heads and deputy regional heads on February 20, 2025, operate normally.
"However, Transjakarta managers are asked to adjust traffic regulations during the activity," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub), Syafrin Liputo, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, February 18.
The inauguration of regional heads and deputy regional heads will take place in the State Palace Area, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara with a total of 2,426 invited guests.
In order to support this activity, the DKI Provincial Government has implemented traffic engineering from Wednesday 19 February to 20 February 2025 starting at 06.00 WIB until 18.00 WIB and this is situational.
Traffic engineering that will be carried out include traffic flow from Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur (from the South) which will go to the West via Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara diverted to Jalan Perwira-Jalan Cathedral-Jalan Pos-Jalan Gunung Sahari-Jalan Samanhudi.
The traffic flow from the north (Lyam Wuruk Street) which will go to the south (Blok M) is diverted through Jalan Ir. H. Juanda-Pas Street-Jalan Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat-Paman Pejambon Street-Pejambon Street-Medan Merdeka Timur Street.
In addition, the traffic flow from Jalan Ir. H. Juanda which will go south (Blok M) is diverted through Jalan Suryopranoto-Jalan Tomang Raya-Jalan S. Parman-Jalan Gatot Subroto.

Furthermore, the traffic flow from Jalan Tomang Raya and Jalan Suryopranoto which will go south (Blok M) is diverted through Jalan Ir. H. Juanda- Jalan Pos-Jalan Gedung Kesenian-Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara - Jalan Lapangan Banteng Barat- Jalan Taman Pejambon-Jalan Pejambon-Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur.
Then, the traffic flow from the south (Blok M) to the north is diverted via Jalan Kebon Sirih-Jalan Fachrudin-Jalan Cideng Barat-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Suryopranoto- Jalan Hayam Wuruk.
Also, the flow of traffic through Jalan Veteran III to the South will be diverted situationally through Jalan Suryapranoto-Jalan Balikpapan-Jalan Cideng Timur.
"Road users are advised to avoid these roads and be able to adjust the traffic arrangements set, obey traffic signs, instructions from officers in the field and prioritize road safety," said Syafrin.
