Allegedly Intimidating, KPK Investigator Rossa Will Report The PDIP Legal Team To The Council

PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said the PDIP legal team would report the KPK investigator who handled the Harun Masiku case, Rossa Probo Bekti, to the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas).

Hasto said that Rossa was suspected of committing a violation by intimidating the former convict Agustiani Tio when examining the case of determining the suspect Hasto.

"On Wednesday, February 19, 2025 tomorrow, the PDI-P legal team will complain to the KPK supervisory board for acts of ethical violations and mishandling that have been committed," said Hasto at the PDIP DPP office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, February 18.

Hasto emphasized that this complaint to the KPK Council was not made against the anti-corruption agency. On the other hand, PDIP wants to keep the KPK from returning to its main mission.

"We believe that the KPK Council will act fairly and have full sovereignty without intervention from any party to dare to examine Rossa's brother, who in fact has intimidated and enforced the law that violates the law," said Hasto.

Hasto described Rossa's acts of intimidation revealed in the facts of the pretrial trial.

In addition to intimidation, Rossa is also said to have offered legal gratification of Rp. 2 billion to Tio. The condition is that Tio must mention that Hasto was involved in the bribery case of Harun Masiku which was conveyed under oath.

"Not only that, Sister Tio was also asked to mention the people in the first circle of Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri so that the investigators could be targeted. This was only conveyed yesterday, yes in an official statement," explained Hasto.

In addition, Hasto revealed that Rossa had hit the table and urged Tio's legal adviser to be replaced.

"The peak of intimidation against Sister Tio is that she is wearing a penalty with her husband not to be able to seek treatment abroad due to her cancer," he explained.
