Heaven's Movie Review That Is Not Missed By 3 The More Mature It Is, The More It Hits The Soul

JAKARTA - The film Heaven that is not missed by 3 MD Pictures production can be watched on Disney + Hotstar since April 16. The third sequel is still centered on the complicated story of polygamy by Pras (Fedi Nuril), Arini (Laudya Chyntia Bella), and Meirose (Marsha Timothy replacing Raline Shah). Even when Arini was gone, her memories were still a strong axis in Pras and Meirose's household.

Although there is no explanation why Raline should be replaced by Marsha, Meirose's character who changes to be patient, loves family, duplicates Arini's character, it seems that the decision to replace Raline is understandable. Marsha appears optimally in this film. Especially when the Meirose scene in SYTD 1 and 2 was also remade with Marsha as a player, it felt just right.

The film, which is adapted from the novel by Asma Nadia, tells more about domestic problems. Like real life, Pras and Meirose's household grew up with the problems they had to face. When pologamy is not an important issue, then economic problems arise in the Pras family.

Pras cheated by his own financial manager. Received protests from workers, Pras and Meirose thought of selling the house they live in. The house that holds great memories of Mother Arini for Nadya.

On the other hand, the question of who Akbar's real father was was finally answered. How Meirose gives up and ends up marrying Pras is shown in a flashback. Ray Sastrowardoyo (Reza Rahadian) appears, the man who had impregnated then left Meirose without a reason, who is Akbar's biological father.

Right, you are not wrong if you think Reza is Doctor Syarif in the second SYTD volume. Director Pritagita Arianegara has tried to change the hairstyle, gesture, and voice of the two characters played by Reza.

Especially when several times Meirose tried to avoid face to face with Ray, the scene was too far-fetched like a soap opera. It feels a little weird at first, but just move on. Because Reza's performance is unquestionable, even though he seems to be holding back his acting skills as a second lead, Reza is able to make Heaven that Unanswered 3 grow more and more.

As in real life, the search for a real father is inevitable. In SYTD 3 the story is only accelerated, because Ray is said to always be looking for Meirose's whereabouts. Knowing that Akbar is his son, Rey is impatient and looks for an opening to enter. This gap is an economic problem for the Pras family.

Pras is happy when Ray offers him an interest-free loan which the workers demonstrate, demanding payment of his salary. But Ray's presence shocked Meirose. Pras is suspicious, and when he finds out that Ray is Akbar's real father, he feels inferior to Ray when his economy is in disarray.

Pras grew up from the initial story of a good man who went into polygamy to save Meirose's life and was invited to have a dialogue with himself. Looking for answers with the audience, the question of alleged cheating with religious and gender based reviews is part of the fun. Pras matured, grew, and "swallowed" karma.

What makes this SYTD 3 film feel different is the conflict that has matured. Pras consistently becomes the person who is most hasty in making conclusions and actions. And this time he got his karma. SYTD 3 film can be the answer for mothers who are angry with a husband's decision to polygamy. That polygamy requires sacrifice, hurts, and requires sincerity is clear this time.

The surprise is, Asma Nadia presents a wider tolerance in this third story. Pras's friendship with Hartono (Tanta Ginting) and Amran (Kemal Pahlevi) has matured even though their characters are opposite. Dara (Olin Mendeng) as encouragement for Meirose.

The most interesting thing is the character Kinan who becomes Nadya's best friend. This film comes out of the shell of conservative Islam when it comes to polygamy. Kinan and Nadya, who are allowed to be friends even though they are of different genders, while still providing boundaries, show beautiful tolerance. That religion does not limit social interactions, but regulates how to get along well.

Visually, Ipung Rachmad Syaiful managed to spoil his eyes even though filming for this film had begun to be limited by PSBB due to Corona. The limited location does not diminish the beauty of SYTD 3. There are several building frames that Ipung is able to present to enrich and reinforce the emotions of the story.

Sorry, spoilers, Find the peak scene of Pras's rage on Meyrose. Not with harsh words, not with the pull of nerves, but by separating them through a visual window divider that zooms out of the room, deep and beautiful.

This two-hour film, in the end, invites all viewers to think that everything happened with Allah's permission. All problems occur for different reasons. And how we solve problems is how we grow up. Closing with the song Selamanya Cinta from BCL, Surga that is not missed by 3 makes the heart feel full after watching it.
