Social Minister Risma Introduces New DTKS To Check Bansos Recipients

JAKARTA - Social Minister Tri Rismaharini said that the data collection of residents who received social assistance in the integrated social welfare data (DTKS) in all regions was successfully matched.

The data, said Risma, has been matched with a population identification number (NIK) with population data managed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, namely the Director General of Dukcapil.

"Because then the data is new data, so on April 1, 2021, this will serve as the basis for us to provide assistance. So, we decided to name it as New DTKS," said Risma in a YouTube broadcast by the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Wednesday, April 21.

Starting today, residents who will receive social assistance at the next stage can check directly on the Cekbansos.kemensos.go.id webpage.

When opening the site, residents were asked to fill in the name according to their KTP and the name of the village where the beneficiaries lived.

"So from there, the public or anyone can monitor the recipients of PKH social assistance, non-cash food assistance (BPNT) and cash social assistance which actually ends in April," said Risma.

Then, in the development of the next feature, if there are residents who feel they deserve social assistance, then they can propose to be beneficiaries.

However, there will be verification of the appropriateness of the new proposed social assistance recipients. This is because the Ministry of Social Affairs must confirm with the local government in order to maintain data integrity. If there is a refutation, the Ministry of Social Affairs can invite universities to carry out the quality control process.

"In Perpres No. 63/2017, it is stated that the proposal must come from the regions. So because of that, we will stick with regional data. If there is a difference, then there will be controls to check what the universities will do," said Risma.
