Chery Pajang Tiggo 8 PHEV On IIMS, Sign For Sale?

PT Chery Sales Indonesia (CSI) brought Tiggo 8 Plug in Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV) at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 exhibition, which attracted the attention of visitors.

From the chairman of VOI, Tuesday, February 18, this car was plastered on the Chery booth. Unfortunately, this one model is only exhibited by the Chinese brand, and there are no detailed specifications yet.

This was revealed by the Head of Marketing of PT Chery Sales Indonesia Mohamad Ilham Pratama, while trying out the Tiggo Cross at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK).

"We brought Tiggo 8 PHEV, but it is still introduced and has not been sold," he said some time ago.

In fact, this one car has already launched first in neighboring the Philippines. In design, not much has changed but still displays a modern and futuristic impression.

This car offers a fairly spacious cabin, which gets a 7-seater configuration option. There is also a large screen in the middle and it's interesting that there is a panoramic sunset that can make the cabin feel more spacious.

Seeing the heart of the runway in the Philippines, this car is equipped with a 4 cylinder engine, 1,500 cc with turbocharger technology. On paper, it can produce a maximum power of 153 Tk and a peak torque of 230 Nm.

This Chinese brand claims that its car has a total distance of 1,300 km, in one full bbm filling coupled with batteries as driving electric motors embedded in this model. Interested in Tiggo 8 PHEV if it glides in Indonesia?
