BYD Sealion 7 Brings ITAC's Advanced Technology, Take A Peek At Its Advantages

JAKARTA BYD continues to strengthen its position as one of the main players in the environmentally friendly vehicle segment by presenting advanced technology in each of its models.

One of the latest evidences is the presence of BYD Sealion 7, the latest SUV that officially joins the TYD product lineup in Indonesia. This car is equipped with various innovative features, including Intelligence Torque Adaption Control (ITAC), which improves driving performance and stability.

As stated by the Product Planning Assistant Manager of PT BYD Motor Indonesia, this one feature has a better function of power on wheels.

"This feature ultimately provides a more optimal driving experience," he said, at the BYD Tech Auto Talks event, in Kemayoran, Monday, February 17.

He further said that the embedded technology or Vehicle Stability Control that is usually found in conventional cars compared to ITAC has differences.

"In terms of sensors, it is different, where if ITAC from BYD follows the rotation of electric motorcycles. The sensors are placed on the front and rear. Because the car already uses the AWD system," he added.

Currently, this technology has been embedded in the Seal variant Performance and BYD Sealion models which are also the Performance variant.

"So, this ITAC system knows what more torque is needed between front and rear, after which it is sent to drive control," he explained.

In addition, this technology is also important because the torques produced by electric cars are fairly instant, in contrast to cars with conventional combustion engines. ITAC technology can also integrate vehicle conditions with the driver's horizontal and vertical control needs, as well as increase the distribution and power adjustment.
