Vadel Badjideh Proposes Suspension Of Detention Of Cases With Nikita Mirzani

JAKARTA - PLH Kasie Humas Polres South Jakarta, Kompol Nurma Dewi said that Vadel Badjideh's party proposed a suspension of detention by his family.

This request was filed directly by the family since Vadel was declared a suspect on Nikita Mirzani's report, Thursday, February 13.

Nurma explained that it was Vadel's right as a suspect that had been regulated in the Criminal Procedure Code. "The suspension is the right of the suspect. In the Criminal Procedure Code, it is regulated," explained Nurma Dewi.

However, regarding whether or not the application was granted, Nurma said that investigators still needed to discuss it first.

"Yes, we have a leader. Investigators will first hand it over to the leadership. So to be granted or not, it is still the investigator's authority," he added.

Previously, content creator Vadel Badjideh was finally named a suspect in the alleged harassment and abortion case against Nikita Mirzani's daughter, Laura Meizani.

"From various statements including Loly, NM, from witnesses, the case was carried out and the title of the case named Vadel Alfajar Badjideh as a suspect," said Razman Arif, Vadel Badjideh's attorney at the South Jakarta Police, Thursday, February 13.

After being named a suspect, Vadel is required to be detained based on the applicable regulations for the next 20 days.

"And because of one thing and another according to the Criminal Procedure Code, it is stipulated that investigators can make detentions if, one, the suspect repeats his actions of eliminating evidence, or running away," he continued.
