Elected Regional Head Undergoes Directions At Monas Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) Bima Arya Sugiarto revealed that on Tuesday (18/2) in the National Monument (Monas) area, Jakarta, the elected head and deputy regional head candidates for the 2024 regional elections will undergo a briefing.

"At 07.00, technically about the inauguration procession," Bima Arya said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, February 17.

The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs explained that the briefing would be delivered by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Tomsi Tohir.

Bima Arya explained that on Wednesday (19/2) the elected candidate for head and deputy regional head will undergo a rehearsal related to the inauguration.

"Gladi is more detailed in nature related to the shift ceremony procession to the Palace, and at the Palace later," Bima said referring to the inauguration location at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta.

When asked about the anticipation of rainy weather, Bima ensured that the Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs had anticipated it.

"This Mr. Secretary General has prepared everything, everything has been anticipated, and later it will also be coordinated with the State Secretariat (Ministry of State Secretariat) to anticipate if it rains what the technicality looks like," he said.

After undergoing briefing and inauguration, regional heads will attend the briefing on February 21, 2025 at the Military Academy, Magelang, Central Java.
