Carry Out Prabowo's Instructions, The Budget Efficiency Of The DKI Provincial Government Is IDR 1.5 Trillion

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government is sweeping the budget from the 2025 DKI Regional Budget in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's orders through Presidential Instruction Number 1 of 2025. The nominal budget projected to be streamlined has been marked.

"We have marked it in all areas, with a value of Rp. 1.548 trillion," said Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD) Michael Rolandi at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, February 17.

Michael said that the budget adjustment at activity posts that were streamlined this year would be executed in the draft amendment to the APBD for the 2025 fiscal year. The DKI Provincial Government targets the preparation of APBD changes to be accelerated from the usual schedule.

"As stated, there is a SE related to the acceleration of the RKPD (regional work plan) for the adjustment of the revised APBD," said Michael.

Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi previously issued Governor's Instruction (Ingub) Number 2 of 2025 concerning Efficiency and Expenditure Adjustments for Fiscal Year 2025.

Several main points of budget efficiency in regulations that follow up on Prabowo's orders include:- Reduction of official travel expenditures, both domestically and abroad.- Budget restrictions for ceremonial activities, studies, comparative studies, as well as seminars and FGDs.- The efficiency of operating spending that does not have measurable output.- Food and beverage budget savings.- The implementation of selective policies in granting grants to ministries or institutions.- The 2025 APBD expenditure adjustment sourced from funds transfer to regions.

In addition, Teguh said that the DKI Provincial Government is also trying to streamline the operational budget at government offices financed by the APBD.

"Especially in the provincial government, there is also a circular letter from the DKI Jakarta inspectorate regarding efficiency in various ways, including the use of electricity, air, water, then also ATK, and various things," Teguh explained.

Then, the marked budget efficiency is also carried out in the context of reconstructing or reallocating the budget to support more strategic programs.
