Hasto Select Delays Fulfilling KPK Calls Today After Submitting Pretrial

"That's right, there is a summons for Monday but we will send a letter requesting postponement of the examination," said Ronny in a written statement, Monday, February 17.

Ronny said the request for postponement was made because his camp had submitted a pretrial to the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on Friday, February 14.

This is the second lawsuit because Hasto did not accept being a suspect in bribery in the interim replacement (PAW) for members of the DPR RI and the obstruction of investigation.

The first pretrial submission has been decided not to be accepted by South Jakarta District Court Single Judge Djumyanto on Thursday, February 13. "We have submitted a pretrial after it was not accepted in yesterday's decision which we considered that we had to apply for two pretrial applications instead of being combined in one application," he said.

Ronny felt that this second pretrial had to be put forward. "So that the court will conduct a principal examination of our pretrial case that has not been touched in the verdict," said the lawyer.

Diberitakan sebelumnya, KPK telah menjadwalkan pemeriksaan terhadap Sekjen PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto. Ia akan dimintai keterangan pekan depan terkait dugaan suap pengurusan pergantian antarwaktu (PAW) dan perintangan penyidikan.

"Info yang kami dapatkan dari penyidik dalam waktu dekat ini akan dilakukan pemanggilan lagi kepada yang bersangkutan," kata Juru Bicara KPK Tessa Mahardhika kepada wartawan di gedung Merah Putih KPK, Kuningan Persada, Jakarta Selatan, Jumat malam, 14 Februari.
