JAKARTA - A man with the initials MCV was found dead suspected of committing suicide after falling free from the 6th floor of a mall building in the SCBD area, Senayan, South Jakarta (Jaksel).
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the incident occurred on Saturday, February 15, at dawn.
"It's true, there has been the discovery of a corpse suspected of committing suicide," said Ade Ary in his statement, Sunday, February 16.
Ade Ary explained that the incident was first discovered by the witness who worked as a security officer at the mall building.
At that time the witness was on duty, suddenly a scream was heard and the sound "bruk" was heard. Hearing this, the witness immediately came to the direction of the source of the sound.
"(It turned out that the victim was found) lying on the floor face down with his head completely destroyed with his blood and broken leg," he said.
Furthermore, the witness immediately contacted his Supervisor to inform him of the incident.
Not long after, the victim was immediately evacuated to the hospital using an ambulance.
The police who received the information went directly to the crime scene (TKP), for investigation.
Ade Ary said that the officers checked at the location and found that a cellphone had burst on the 6th floor belonging to the victim. Currently, his party is investigating the case.
"Currently the case is being handled by the Kebayoran Baru Sektro," said Ade Ary.
