Attorney General's Office Arrests Corruption Fugitives At Ngurah Rai Airport
BALI - The Intelligence and Innovation Task Force (SIRI) team of the Attorney General's Office together with the South Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office managed to secure Muhammad Khairuddin, a fugitive in a corruption case. The arrests were made on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 15.15 WITA, at Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali.
Muhammad Khairuddin, who serves as Director of PT Batu Gunung Haruyan, is on the People's Wanted List (DPO) of the South Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office. He was found guilty based on Supreme Court Decision Number 240 K/Pid.Sus/2015 dated November 23, 2015 for continuing corruption.
In this decision, the Supreme Court sentenced Muhammad Khairuddin to three years in prison and a fine of Rp. 100 million. In addition, he was also required to pay compensation of Rp. 917.6 million.
When secured, Muhammad Khairuddin was cooperative so that the process went smoothly. Furthermore, he was taken to the South Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office for execution.
