Pramono-Doel Don't Want To Be Paraded During The Inauguration Of The Governor-Deputy Governor Of Jakarta

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor elected DKI Jakarta, Rano Karno admitted that he and the elected Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung, did not want to get a procession on the day of the inauguration.

Pramono and Doel will only undergo inauguration activities, handover of positions (sertijab), and the first speech at the DKI Jakarta DPRD plenary meeting on February 20.

"The Governor (Pramono) has said we don't need processions. Maybe later after the inauguration at the Palace, we will go to City Hall, which may have a certificate of language. After that, the plenary session at the DPRD. That's it. There is no need for a procession," said Doel at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office, Sunday, February 16.

On the first day of leading Jakarta after the inauguration, Doel admitted that he and Pramono would immediately work. He will gather all regional work units (SKPD) to synchronize work programs according to his campaign promises.

This follows up on the work of the Pramono-Rano transition team which has coordinated with SKPD so that the 100 working day program can run smoothly.

"So, all agencies understand the purpose and purpose of the Governor and what I am, what 100 working days are. If they can't follow, we just have to see the next evaluation," explained Doel.

On that occasion, Doel revealed that one of the priority programs that will be carried out is flood management. He has also reviewed the condition of a number of reservoirs in Jakarta.

"Looking at the situation, so that 100 days of our work program, namely dredging the river, we will do it," he added.
