After being examined for blood sugar levels, gout, to diabetes, Doel, Rano's nickname, admitted that he was surprised because his health was considered quite good.

"This means that everything is smooth, blood sugar is good, she is hot, okay, gout is okay. I was surprised myself, my gout turned out to be good," said Doel at the Ministry of Home Affairs office, Central Jakarta, Sunday, February 16.

When conducting a medical test, Doel was not with the elected Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung. Pramono is rumored to be following later.

Doel admitted that this health check was one of the requirements before being appointed as the definitive regional head.

"One of the requirements to participate in big activities later, so thank God, everything was quite good," explained Doel.

Apart from Doel, a number of elected regional heads also underwent health checks today. Some of them are the elected Governor of North Sumatra Bobby Nasution, the elected Governor of Central Java Ahmad Luthfi, and the elected Governor of West Java Dedi Mulyadi.

The elected regional head of the 2024 Pilkada results registered and underwent a medical examination at the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri), Jakarta, Sunday, February 16 as part of preparations for the simultaneous inauguration on Thursday, February 20.

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya explained that a total of 239 elected regional heads from Sumatra and Java are scheduled to undergo basic health checks, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol.

This examination is fundamental because they are also asked to convey the results of medical checks from their respective regions.

Health checks were carried out in three sessions, namely 08.00 a.m., 10.00 p.m. local time, 10.00 p.m. local time, and 13.00 p.m. local time. Meanwhile, 242 elected regional heads from Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, Papua, and Bali and Nusa Tenggara are scheduled to undergo examination on Monday 17 February.

Bima Arya emphasized that the purpose of this examination was to ensure that the health condition of the regional head remained prime ahead of the inauguration and the next series of activities.

The examination was carried out at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office to make it more practical, considering that apart from medical examinations, regional heads were also given an explanation regarding the series of inaugurations.

Bima also denied the assumption that the examination at the Ministry of Home Affairs was carried out for budget efficiency, because each regional head had carried out a medical check-up in their respective regions.

In addition to the examination, they also filled out registration and received directions on the series of inaugurations which will take place until the retreat at the Magelang Military Academy on February 21.
