Ahn Hyo Seop Lives In Fantasy World In The First Teaser For Omniscient Reader Films

JAKARTA - The first teaser for the Omniscient Reader film was released on Saturday, February 15. This hallyu star-studded film is adapted from a web novel of the same name.

The 32-second video shows Ahn Hyo Seop as Kim Dok Ja realizing what he reads in a book is a reality. Doc Ja reads the first sentence from the novel that reads "The train stops in the middle of the Dongho bridge."

Suddenly, Kim Dok Ja's train stopped and he realized, "This is the same as the beginning of the novel."

Doc Ja then met Yoo Jong Hyuk, played by Lee Min Ho in the middle of a nearly broken bridge. Yoo Jong Hyuk asked, 'Who are you?'

The short teaser shows the fight faced by Kim Dok Ja and Yoo Joong Hyuk as well as several other characters such as Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Nana, and Jisoo BLACKPINK. Chae Soo Bin was beside Kim Dok Ja when the incident happened.

In addition, Shin Seung Ho is seen wearing military clothes, Nana who looks mysterious, and Jisoo who directed his gun and was at the train station.

Omniscient Reader tells the story of Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop) who realizes he is living in a fantasy novel that he reads. Armed with a novel story he knows, Kim Dok Ja will save the world from the end assisted by Yoo Jong Hyuk (Lee Min Ho).

His first poster showed a tagline that read, The world in the novel is a reality.

The Omniscient Reader film will hit theaters starting July 2025.
