Ask Prabowo To President Again, Gerindra Is Ready To Succeed In The 2029 Election

Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani said his party was ready to make the 2029 election a success. This is in line with the decision of the extraordinary congress (KLB) which asked President Prabowo Subianto to move forward for the second period.

This statement was conveyed by Muzani when giving a speech at the peak of the 17th Anniversary of the Gerindra Party in Sentul, West Java, Saturday, February 15.

"All Gerindra Party cadres ask the Gerindra Party in the upcoming 2029 Presidential Election to re-nominate Haji Prabowo Subianto as President of the Republic of Indonesia for the second term," said Muzani in his remarks.

"Therefore, since this decision was made, all the Gerindra Party branches, Gerindra Party branch administrators, Gerindra Party PAC, Gerindra Party DPC, Gerindra Party DPC, Gerindra Party DPD, and Gerindra Party DPP are ready to make the 2029 General Election a success," he continued.

Muzani said Prabowo as General Chair and Chairman of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees was an encouragement for party cadres bearing the Garuda symbol. "We thank you, our prayers are that hopefully he will be given a long and healthy life," he said.

As previously reported, the Gerindra Party decided to support Prabowo Subianto, who is the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia as well as the general chairman, to run for the 2029 presidential election. This decision was taken through the Gerindra Party Extraordinary Congress (KLB) which was held at Prabowo's residence in Hambalang, West Java, Thursday, February 13.

Representatives of all administrators of the DPP, DPD and DPC Gerindra throughout Indonesia who attended the KLB agreed with the decision.

Then, this activity also gave birth to several decisions, namely receiving the accountability report of the Gerindra Party DPP for the 2020-2025 period. The report was received because it was considered satisfactory in terms of political achievement and level of public trust.
