Bawaslu Has Responsibility To Strengthen Indonesian Democracy
JAKARTA - Bawaslu not only works according to the stages of elections and elections but also has a responsibility to strengthen democracy in Indonesia.
"Bawaslu has a responsibility to strengthen democracy in this Republic. Therefore, even though there are no stages of the task of strengthening democracy, we must continue to carry it out," said Member of the Indonesian Bawaslu, Totok Hariyono, quoting Antara.
He hopes that during this non-stage period, the consolidation of democracy to the community will be increasingly carried out by the regional Bawaslu. According to him, this can strengthen the constitutional legal system in Indonesia.
"Let us both continue to provide democratic education in society," he said.

In addition, Totok also asked the leaders who were present at the Constitutional Court to prepare themselves when giving information. He asked the leadership who provided information to understand what the petitioners were and how Bawaslu responded.
"Pangggung di MK juga merupakan salah satu cara sosialisasi bagaimana-kerja pengawasan yang telah dilakukan oleh Bawaslu. Kawan-kawan harus mengerami, misalnya rekomendasinya apa yang telah dikelukan Bawaslu, kenapa rekomendasi tersebut dikelukan, kenapa ada PSU, dan lain sebagainya," pungkas Totok.
