Bareskrim Investigate Alleged Relatedness Of PT Mega Agung Nusantara To Pagar Laut In Hirup Jaya Village

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police is investigating the connection between PT Mega Agung Nusantara or MAN and the sea fence in Hirup Jaya Village, Bekasi, West Java.

Recruited for General Crimes at Bareskrim Pori, Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, the alleged connection emerged when investigators investigated allegations of falsification of land certificates for the sea ceiling in Segara Jaya Village, Bekasi.

"While we will explore it, namely there is another act in other villages, namely in Hurip Jaya village, where Hurip Jaya and Segarajaya villages are close to one sub-district," Djuhandhani told reporters, Friday, February 14.

Currently, the team has been deployed to investigate further regarding the alleged PT Mega Agung Nusantara as the owner of the sea fence. However, Djuhandhani emphasized that his party put forward the presumption of innocence in handling these allegations.

"We are presumption of innocence, it is related to PT Mega Agung Nusantara, this is what we will investigate later," he said.

If all the data has been collected, the case title process will be carried out. That way, it can be determined whether or not the problem is increased to the investigation stage

"Then this process is also a follow-up, investigators will also hold it for further whether this case can be continued to an investigation or not," said Djuhandhani.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) sealed the sea fence which allegedly belonged to PT Mega Agung Nusantara (MAN) in the waters of Kampung Paljaya, Segara Jaya Village, Tarumajaya, Bekasi Regency. The sealing was carried out on Tuesday, February 11.
