Government Wants To Offer 35 Downstream Projects Worth IDR 2,016 Trillion To Investors
JAKARTA - The government through the National Energy Downstream and Resilience Acceleration Task Force is preparing 35 downstream projects that will be offered to investors.
Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot Tanjung said this project has a value of US$ 123.8 billion or equivalent to Rp2,016 trillion with an exchange rate of Rp16,283.
"The task force has identified and prepared, there are 35 projects with a value of around USD 123.8 billion," Yuliot told the media crew at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Friday, February 14.
Yuliot said the project offer to investors aims to accelerate downstreaming and encourage energy resilience, as stated in Astacita, President Prabowo Subianto's program.
"So, there is downstream that we have prepared in the raw material sector, namely minerals, coal, then downstreaming in materials originating from oil and natural gas," added Yuliot.

Not only in the energy impurity, he continued, the agricultural sector has also prepared an oleochemical project, which is a chemical originating from natural oils and fats. Yuliot also hopes that the government can immediately offer this to potential investors.
Previously, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto officially formed the National Energy Downstream and Resilience Acceleration Task Force led by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia.
The Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 1 of 2025 explains that the formation of the task force aims to accelerate downstreaming in various sectors and accelerate the realization of national energy resilience.
