Don't Eat The Issue, Farianda Sinik, Nasir Nurdin, Andi Gino Remains Chair Of The Provincial PWI

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Central PWI, Hendry Ch Bangun, emphasized that Farianda Sinik still serves as Chairman of the North Sumatra PWI, Nasir Nurdin as Chairman of the Aceh PWI, and Andi Gino as Chairman of the Riau Islands PWI. All three carry out their duties based on the mandate that is valid and recognized by the Central PWI according to organizational regulations.

Farianda, Nasir, and Andi are the legitimate Chair of PW Ieeb in their respective provinces. They were chosen through the Provincial Conference according to the organizational mechanism and are still recognized in our leadership structure. Their leadership is still running as it should", said Hendry in Jakarta in a statement received Friday, February 14.

Hendry explained that the Central PWI under his leadership had strong legal legitimacy, based on the XXV Congress in Bandung in 2023 which was ratified by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham). The Decree of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Number AHU-000946.AH.01.08.2024 dated July 9, 2024 confirmed Hendry Ch Bangun as the legitimate General Chair for the period 2023-2028.

"In accordance with the decision of the XXV Congress and the ratification of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, all of our management has a clear legal basis. There is no change in leadership at the provincial level without going through an official mechanism regulated in the PWI Basic Regulations and Household Regulations (PD/PRT)," explained Hendry.

Hendra J Kede, Deputy Chair of the Central PWI Organization, also emphasized that the implementation of the 2025 National Press Day (HPN) in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, is clear evidence of the legitimacy of Hendry Ch Bangun's leadership.

The HPN was attended by Minister of Culture Fadli Zon representing the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Chairman of the MPR Ahmad Muzani, Pangdam Mulawarman and the South Kalimantan Police Chief. This event was also attended by 30 Provincial PWI Management, including Farianda Sinik, Nasir Nurdin, and Andi Gino.

"The 2025 HPN in Banjarmasin shows real support for the legitimate PWI under the leadership of Hendry Ch Bangun. The presence of state officials and 30 provinces proves the solidity of our organization. Farianda, Nasir, and Andi are also present as the legitimate Chair of the PWI Province," said Hendra.

Hendry asked all parties, including government agencies and the public, not to hesitate in recognizing the PWI leadership in North Sumatra, Aceh, and Riau Islands.

Farianda, Nasir, and Andi remain valid as PWI Chairs in their respective provinces. We emphasize that this management structure has not changed. Their leadership runs according to the mandate given," concluded Hendry.
