KPK Urged To Examine Entrepreneurs With The Initials HP Regarding The Bukit Asam PLTU Case
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) was asked to investigate the involvement of Hengky Pribadi (HP) in the case of the backfit work of the Bukit Asam PLTU sootblowing system. Moreover, the employer's house was ransacked by investigators.
This pressure was conveyed by the South Sumatra Youth Student Alliance which held an action and included a complaint at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta on Wednesday, February 12.
"According to the investigators, they have even searched (Hengky Pribadi's residence, ed) and found some of the evidence that was confiscated. Our claim is that the results of the search are conveyed to the public," said the coordinator of the action, Januar Eka at the location.
"When some new evidence is found, it is immediately determined that Hengky Pribadi was involved in the case," he continued.
Not only that, Januar also mentioned the facts of the trial at the Corruption Court (Tipikor) at the Palembang District Court (PN) also revealed Hengky's involvement. Among them are a number of companies used by these entrepreneurs during project work such as PT HJM, PT TEI, PT LLI and CV ML.
Meanwhile, PT TEI and PT HJM, Januar, still have a family relationship with Hengky.
Hengky is also called an old partner and has worked quite a lot on projects within PLN UIK SBS with a large value per job.
"We hope that the KPK will maintain its integrity in law enforcement so as not to selectively selective. So, it is not only enough in these three names (the defendant who is being tried, ed). If new evidence is found and indeed several witnesses call Hengky Pribadi's involvement, immediately determine him as a suspect," he said.
