Ariana Grande Claims To Be Tired Of Imej As Pop Star

JAKARTA - Being a pop star is a dream for many artists. But in reality, the life that is lived when you get a pop star label, is not completely fun. That's how Ariana Grande feels.

The singer, who is now busy with his role in the musical 'Wicked', stated that he felt tired of being a pop star.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Grande said how people see who they really are, so it's something ridiculous.

"The feeling that people are looking at me is actually ''very ridiculous' because I've been looking so long, but it feels like the first time and it's different," Grande said.

As is known, Grande has attached image, with horse lock hair, loose T-shirts and high boots. However, the 31-year-old singer said that the image was not him.

"At some point, you feel bored with the (pop star) character, because it's a character," Grande said. There's some part of you and your story is in the writing of your song, but then, because of the way it's delivered and it's sensational, it's getting away from you.

"And behind all that, there is a girl from Boca who loves art, and I think that's why disappearing into this character is a very healing gift removing one mask and wearing another mask."

Furthermore, Wicked director Jon M. Chu said that Grande had talked a lot about her own life, about playing Ariana Grande's character, and also growing up at the same time and experiencing tragedy while preparing for her role in the film.

Then, Grande said the experience and impact of the big screen musical had made him a thirst for something different.
