Search The Office And House Of The Kohod Village Head, Bareskrim Seize Accounts

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police confiscated several accounts that were believed to be related to the alleged forgery of land deeds related to the sea fence in Tangerang. The confiscation was carried out during the search process at the Kohod Village Head's office and house.

"We got the recapitulation of the application for the second cohod transaction fund and several accounts that we got," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Wednesday, February 12.

However, it was not conveyed about the number of accounts confiscated or the value stated in the application for funds.

It is only emphasized that the evidence that has been confiscated will be further investigated by coordinating with the banking sector.

"While we are also submitting this to the laboratory to be tested by the Forensic Laboratory," he said.

In addition to accounts, investigators also confiscated several other items such as printers, monitor screens, keyboards, Kohod Village secretariat stamps, and other equipment.

All of these tools were used to fake girik and other documents. In fact, the village head and the Kohod village secretary have admitted to using these items to falsify letters or documents.

"And we have obtained this from the description of the village head and the village secretary also admitted that the tools were used," he said.

Even though he has admitted, the status of the Village Head and Village Secretary is still a witness. The reason is that recognition is not the main thing in the investigation process. There must be supporting evidence to prove all the arguments that have been submitted.

"We have the principle of proof. Fulfill the evidence. The evidence is related or not. This is what we will carry out later," he said.

The plan is that all evidence that has been confiscated by investigators will be reviewed. Then, a case will be held to determine the suspect.

"In the near future, if I'm not mistaken, if I analyze it from investigators, maybe this week or next week we can hold it," said Djuhandani.
