According to Adit, the legal instrument in the form of Regional Regulation Number 1 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Public Order and Public Peace and Community Protection is sufficient to eradicate the circulation of illegal alcoholic beverages in Bogor City.
"The DPRD encourages the city government to take action and eradicate illegal alcoholic beverage sellers. Apart from not providing benefits, the circulation of this drink also brings many harm to residents of Bogor City," said Adit, Tuesday, February 11.
Adit also invited the public to play an active role in reporting locations where illegal alcoholic beverages are sold.
"The active role of the community is very important in order to keep our community clean of illegal alcoholic beverages that endanger residents," he said.
Adit said that currently the Bogor City DPRD is working on a draft regional regulation on the prevention and eradication of abuse as well as illicit narcotics trafficking and narcotics precursors.
If possible, the regulation will also include several articles related to the sale of illegal alcoholic beverages that are closely related to narcotics trafficking.
"Therefore, it is necessary to carry out systematic, structured, effective, and efficient prevention and eradication efforts as a form of support and role of local governments," explained Adit.
Furthermore, Adit explained that drugs are serious threats that not only damage individuals, but also destroy families and weaken the joints of social life.
Drug abuse can have a very detrimental impact, both in the short and long term.
