Xiaomi Plans To Open Its Electric Car Export Faucet, Is Indonesia Included?

JAKARTA - A technology manufacturer that also takes part in the environmentally friendly vehicle segment, namely Xiaomi, has entered into an agreement with Hyperion Leasing (Tianjin), to promote exports of electric cars to various countries.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Tuesday, February 11, this step opens up the presence of Xiaomi electric cars even wider, and the company seems to have also changed plans that previously did not want to export over the next few years.

Hyperion Leasing (Tianjin) is a subsidiary of China National National Machinery Industry owned by the state, the company was founded in 1997 as a company directly managed by the government.

Currently, the company has 160,000 employees, 40 subsidiaries, and more than 200 overseas service agents. The group has market presence in more than 170 countries and territories.

The cooperation between these two companies has been established since February 10, in a statement Sinomach revealed that he had reached an agreement with Xiaomi, but it was not explained which market was considered the main one. However, it is clear that this cooperation intends to export electric vehicles abroad.

The model of cooperation between Xiaomi and Hyperion Leasing (Tianjin) is not yet known. It seems that this Sinomach subsidiary will act as an exporter of Xiaomi cars, buy vehicles from its factories and sell them via overseas routes. Hyperion Leasing is also said to be taking care of the maintenance and technical support of Xiaomi vehicles sold abroad.

As previously reported, Xiaomi has exhibited the first SU7 sedan model several times, for example in India to Malaysia. Unfortunately, Indonesia has not yet become the goal of showing off the model.

As is known, Xiaomi currently only has one main model, namely the SU7 sedan, and will soon launch one model SUV targeting the premium market.
