TOP Affirms No Plan To Return To BIGBANG

JAKARTA - TOP or actor Choi Seung Hyun denied that he would return to the BIGBANG group. This news was widely discussed after his name was still included in BIGBANG's YouTube account.

TOP is the stage name Choi Seung Hyun during his career as rapper BIGBANG. Even though he has left, he still uses the name TOP including his Instagram profile.

The Squid Game 2 star wrote, T.O.P Choi Seung Hyun in his biodata column which made fans speculate that he would return with BIGBANG.

Tuesday, February 11, representatives of the TOP denied the news and gave an explanation why he was still using the name.

"The name TOP has consistently been added to Choi Seung Hyun's profile from the start," said TOP

"As he mentioned in the Squid Game 2 interview, he felt guilty with the members and there was no discussion related to BIGBANG," they explained.

YG Entertainment, who is the agency from BIGBANG, explained why the name TOP is still visible on BIGBANG's YouTube account.

"The YouTube profile in question has never been replaced since the release of the singlefew Life," YG Entertainment said on the same day.

"When the song was released, YG wrote the names of G-Dragon, Taeyang, TOP and Daesang as contributors to the song," YG said.

Previously, TOP conducted an interview related to Squid Game 2. On that occasion, he admitted that he would not return as a member of BIGBANG.

"I imagined the situation when we gave my true blessing I felt guilty. I came out because I felt I had no right to stay (in BIGBANG). Everything I felt was that I felt guilty," said TOP.
