KPK Examines Three Witnesses For Clarification Of State Losses In X-Ray Machine Procurement Case
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the current Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) is clarifying the amount of state losses due to the procurement of x-ray machines at the Corruption Ministry of Agriculture's Agricultural Quarantine Agency.
KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardhika said this process was carried out by BPKP against three witnesses who were summoned by investigators on Monday, February 10. They were worked on at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.
"The witnesses are all present," Tessa told reporters, Tuesday, February 11.
The witnesses who were questioned were Sahronih as Young Archives Functional of the General Bureau and Finance of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency; Fardianto Eko Saputra and Maman Suparman as civil servants (PNS) of the Indonesian Quarantine Agency.
"Clarification by BPKP in the context of calculating state losses," he said.
Previously reported, the KPK is investigating allegations of corruption in the procurement of static x-rays, mobile x-rays, and x-ray trailers or containers at the Ministry of Agriculture's Agricultural Quarantine Agency (Kementan). A total of six people have been prevented from leaving the country, namely WH, IP, MB, SUD, CS and RF.

One of the six people is the former Secretary of the Quarantine Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture Wisnu Haryana. This prevention was requested by the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights based on Decree Number 1064 of 2024 and valid for six months.
The KPK said that the state losses due to this procurement allegedly reached Rp82 billion. However, the exact number could change because the auditors are still calculating for sure.
