Antonio Conte Frustration Napoli Lots Of Opportunities
JAKARTA - Napoli's manager, Antonio Conte, said his team deserved more after being held to a 1-1 draw by Udinese in Serie A on Monday, February 10, 2025, early in the morning WIB.
He felt his troops had given everything when extending the unbeaten record to nine matches.
The manager regretted the lost chances. Especially in the first half, Napoli controlled the game and created many chances, but failed to convert them.
"It's a shame because I think we deserved more than a point tonight."
"The second half was slow, but in the first half, we created many chances, we controlled the game."
"If you don't convert these opportunities, it will cause problems. The players leave the pitch exhausted tonight."
"They gave everything to win. It was our ninth unbeaten game."
"So, believe me from the bottom of my heart when I say this is extraordinary," Conte told DAZN.

Scott McTominay's incredible header opened the scoring for Napoli, but his effort was offset by Jurgen Ekkelenkamp's curling shot from outside the penalty box.
Conte then pointed to Udineses' physical and skill as a factor for his team failing to get full points.
"Udinese is a very physical team with several quality players who I believe will soon move to big clubs."
"We do what we always do, press high, but they have players like Lorenzo Lucca who dominate in the air and are always a threat," Conte said.
With a second draw in a row, following a 1-1 draw against AS Roma last week, Napoli missed a six-point lead at the top of the Serie A standings.
However, they now have 55 points, four points ahead of Inter Milan, who will host Fiorentina on Tuesday, February 11, 2024, early morning WIB.
Meanwhile, Atalanta, who is in third place, who beat Verona 5-0 on Saturday, February 8, 2025, has 50 points.
"I can't ask the kids to do more than that. Otherwise, we risk getting the engine out of lane and the engine is damaged."
"If someone is disappointed with two draws, that's not my problem," the coach told a news conference.
