BAMTC 2025: Indonesia Ready To Fight Against Hong Kong

JAKARTA The Indonesian badminton team will reduce their best strength when they meet Hong Kong in the first match of Group B Badminton Asia Mix Team Championship (BAMTC) 2025.

Indonesia is scheduled to face Hong Kong on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. The victory in the match will keep Indonesia's chances of qualifying for the next stage safer.

"Preparation is good enough. Rest and return to our maximum body condition, adapting to the field has also been done today and yesterday. So, we are ready to compete," said men's doubles player Muhammad Shohibul Fikri.

Rinov Rivaldy and his friends will be wary of the opposing team in the strength of the men's doubles and mixed doubles sectors. The reason is, senior Tang Chun Man players are predicted to play concurrently in both sectors.

Tang Chun Man is a player specialized in mixed doubles. However, he will likely play men's doubles.

"From the men's doubles, we are ready to exchange whoever the partner is because the training has been together for a long time."

"Meanwhile, if the opponent is exchanging partners, we must also quickly read the pattern," said Fikri.

In mixed doubles, Indonesia will likely rely on Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti. In that number, the badminton player who was born in Bogor Regency will pair up with Dejan Ferdinansyah.

Mixed doubles coach Rionny Mainaky said that he hoped that the sector he was fostering could perform well according to preparation.

"We in the mixed doubles have prepared well so we are ready. Whoever will be fielded," he said.

In addition to playing in mixed doubles, Siti Fadia was also plotted to play concurrently in women's doubles. For this reason, the 2021 SEA Games gold medalist received the right portion of training in both sectors.

"Fadia has so far also enjoyed their role in playing concurrently. So, with the training program provided, it can match and enter," said Rionny.

The Indonesian team has undergone their second training at the Qingdao Conson Gymnasium on Monday, February 10, 2025. This exercise is the final preparation ahead of the 2025 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships.
