Proliga 2025: Yogya Falcons Just Breaks Egg After 9 Mains
JAKARTA The Yogya Falcons women's volleyball team for the first time was able to break eggs won a set when they played their ninth match at the 2025 Proliga.
This moment occurred in their latest defeat against the host Bandung Bjb Tandamata at GOR Jalak Harupat, Bandung, West Java, on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
In that duel, Yogya Falcons, who was a newcomer team in the competition, managed to steal the second set to equalize. The match then ended with a score of 1-3 (10-25, 25-23, 18-25, and 9-25).
"I'm happy to be able to get a set, but I'm also sad that many mistakes have been made by the children after winning the second set," said Falcons coach Marcos Sugiyama, after the match.

Yogya Falcons is a team that is being prepared for the U-21 World Championship in East Java. The majority of the young players in the squad made it difficult for them to compete this season.
The latest defeats make and at the same time worsen their records this season. Of the nine matches, they have not once secured victory.
In the previous eight defeats, they were not even able to put up a fight at all. Sabina Altynbekova and her friends were recorded to always lose with a score of 3-0.
"I'm happy, yes, I can get a set, but I'm not satisfied because the next set is far behind 8-25. Hopefully, those who come can be repaired again," said Geofany player Eka Cahyaningtyas.
Yogya Falcons is currently still at the bottom of the 2025 Proliga standings. They haven't secured a single point after suffering from winning-loss sets 1 compared to 27 so far.
Currently, the top of the 2025 Proliga standings for the women's team is held by the Jakarta Popsivo Polwan. The team has not lost in eight matches and collected 22 points.
