Dancer Rudy Lamar Banned After Raising The Palestinian Flag At The 2025 Halftime Show

JAKARTA - The unexpected incident colored Corn Lamar's appearance at the 2025 Halftime Show. One of the rapper's background dancers was banned by officers after raising the Palestinian flag on stage.

This happened when Kendrick performed his last song at Superdome on the evening of February 9. In the middle of the tv off song, suddenly a man from the line of dancers raised the Palestinian and Sudanese flags.

The flag reads 'Sudan' and 'Gaza' which is interpreted as a form of support for the two countries that are being oppressed. Officers rushed to secure the man and were taken outside the venue.

The NFL representative said this incident was completely unknown or planned by the production team. The man is suspected of being an intruder, although the truth has not been confirmed.

"We commend security for quickly detaining the person who displayed the flag. He was part of the 400 main characters. The person hid the item in his hands and showed it at the end of the show. No one involved in the production was aware of the person's intentions," said the source quoting NBC, February 10.

Apple Music, which supports Corn Lamar at this event, has not been able to provide any information. Meanwhile netizens praised the heroic attitude that unfortunately was not recorded on the television. But the video is widespread in cyberspace.

"Kendrick should have invited him to stand side by side. To defend what's right," said one user X. "It's a shame we can't see him on television," said another.

Kendrick Lamar himself managed to become a byword after his historical performance at the LIX Super Bowl. He became the first single hip hop artist to be trusted to appear at the event.
