3 Indonesian Navy Personnel Charged With Detention Of The Rental Boss Shooting Case At Rest Area KM 45

JAKARTA - Three members of the Indonesian Navy from the Military Oditurat II-07 Jakarta were charged with detaining the car rental boss who occurred at the KM45 rest area, Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, Jayanti, Tangerang Regency, Banten, last Thursday, January 2.

The three defendants were defendant 1 on behalf of the Head of Classi (KLK) Bambang Apri Atmojo, defendant 2 Second Sergeant Akbar Adli, and defendant 3 First Sergeant Rafsin Hermawan.

"That the actions of the defendants have fulfilled the elements of a criminal act as regulated and threatened with a crime in accordance with Article 480 of the 1st Criminal Code Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code with the article of detention," said the Military Oditur from the Military Oditurat II-07 Jakarta who handled the case, namely Major Korps hukum (Chk) Gori Rambe at the Military Court II-08 Jakarta, Cakung, East Jakarta, Antara, Monday, February 10.

"The three defendants have committed the crime of buying, renting, exchanging, receiving pawns, receiving gifts, or for profit, selling, renting, exchanging, pawning, pawning, transporting, storing or hiding something, which is known or should be suspected that it was obtained from the crime of detention," continued Gori Rambe.

In addition to the article on detention, Gori Rambe said that two of the three suspects were charged with violating Article 340 of the Criminal Code Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1 of the Criminal Code, subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code related to premeditated murder.

"One defendant (Bambang Apri Atmojo) and two defendants (Akbar Adil) have committed a criminal act intentionally and the plan is to take the lives of others first," said Gori Rambe.

The trial began at 10.00 WIB led by Lieutenant Chief Judge Colonel Chk Arif Rachman with Lieutenant Lieutenant Colonel Chk Nanang Subeni and Lieutenant Lieutenant Judge Colonel Chk Gatot Sumarjono.

Previously, the shooting incident occurred at the KM45 rest area, Tangerang-Merak Toll Road, Jayanti, Tangerang Regency, Banten, Thursday (2/1).

In that incident, there were two victims, namely the initials IAR and RAB. One of the two victims was the car rental boss who died after being hit by a bullet in his chest.

On Friday, January 3, the police managed to secure rentals for rental cars, namely the US and IS, in the Pandeglang area, Banten.
