"On February 9, 2025, tourist ships can make another voyage," said Head of the Labuan Bajo Class III KSOP Stephanus Risdiyanto when contacted in Labuan Bajo, as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, February 8.
Ia menambahkan kapal wisata diizinkan berlayar karena adanya penurunan potensi siklon tropis di sisi laut selatan berdasarkan pembaharuan prakiraan cuaca BMKG melalui https://peta-maritim.bmka.go.id/ofs/.
Previously, shipping restrictions to tourist destinations were imposed for eight days from February 1-8, 2025 due to bad weather.
However, he emphasized the ship owners and ship captains to still avoid shipping routes through the waters of the southern part of Komodo Island and the southern part of Padar Island. This affirmation has been conveyed in the Notice to Mariners / NtM or notification to the ship's captain on February 7, 2025.
"This must be considered," he said.
